The Discover Ashfield Awards brought Ashfield residents and businesses together at Kirkby Leisure Centre to celebrate the achievements of local people during the past 12 months.

Compered by the chair of Discover Ashfield, Martin Rigley OBE, the annual event was also attended by chief executive Theresa Hodgkinson and director of place and communities, John Bennett, who offered their congratulations to the winners. The awards were presented by Discover Ashfield ambassadors including Martin Rigley, vice chair Louise Knott, ATTFE College principal, Liz Barrett OBE, and Pete Edwards.
