Teversal Trails Visitors Centre
Teversal Trails Visitors Centre, Carnarvon Street, Teversal, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 3HJ
Get Directions
The trails include a circular route along the old railway lines that guides visitors to a former colliery site, takes in the abundant wildlife of Coppy Wood, and the historic Skegby village. Take a trip to the Coal Garden at the visitors centre that has artifacts from the local colliery, including pit wheels.
Much of the trails network has now been designated as a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) with tor grass, yellow oat grass, field scabious, hawkweed, and quaking grass, and is one of the few remaining areas in Nottinghamshire with limestone grassland.
