The route
The Meden Walking Trail is found along the picturesque River Meden, where hikers can enjoy the natural and peaceful surroundings of grassland, woodland, and wildlife.
Places to visit
The trail is in the Meden Trail Nature Reserve managed by the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, and as well as grassland and wooded areas, it has fascinating limestone crags, and wildlife including butterflies, woodpeckers, and warblers. The reserve is part of the larger Pleasley Trails network.
