A new Sports Hub at Sutton Lawn will aim to give residents greater access to healthier lifestyles and help improve wellbeing. Planning is underway for this project, which will be funded by the £62.6 million awarded in June 2021 as part of the government’s Towns Fund scheme.
The project will include new changing room facilities, 3G pitch, grass football pitches, floodlighting, tennis, and increased parking. The council is working with charity Football Foundation to secure investment for the project.
